It started at the age of two.
While most toddlers were learning to walk, I was getting stretched and learning how to kick and punch by my father, Shinan Farhad Varasteh 10th Dan, who was the founder of karate in Iran and his own method - KANZEN RYU.
Martial arts was not just a sport, it was a way of life. Discipline, focus and relentless self-mastery were built into my DNA before I even understood what they meant.
That foundation shaped everything. I went on to become a two-time Canadian Karate Champion in fighting and form (kumite and Kata), top 5 in Canadian championships from 2002 to 2010.
For the past four decades, I’ve coached hundreds of professionals, CEOs, frequent fliers, working parents who thought they “didn’t have time.” Together, we redefined what’s possible when training meets precision and purpose.
My philosophy is simple:
